About Us

PPI Logistics is based in the southern Delta region of Mississippi, where catfish farms and processing plants abound as a primary agri-industry. It is also the home base for Protein Products, a rendering operation that converts leftover, inedible byproducts from processed catfish into oil and meal products. These products are sourced for the production of pet food, animal feeds, and biodiesel – a highly efficient recycling operation.

It is here that PPI Logistics got its start as a division of Protein Products, hauling catfish meal and oils to major pet food and biodiesel companies throughout the country. Today, the company now offers its specialized hauling services to shippers in a variety of similar industries with our own team of company drivers.

Capabilities

PPI Logistics has hauled for numerous feed companies and the biodiesel industry. Our fleet of tankers includes insulated, non-insulated, stainless-steel, and aluminum trailers that will carry oil products ranging from a variety of vegetable-based oils, various cooking oils, animal fats, as well as biodiesel, diesel exhaust fluid and liquid fertilizers, just to name a few. We haul both inedible and food-grade edible products – but no hazardous loads.

Our fleet of fully automatic Mack trucks (all less than five years old) are driven by our own company team of drivers – so you know they can be trusted. All our drivers are Class A CDL licensed for 18-wheelers, and every one of our Mack trucks is ELD compliant and has state-of-the-art GPS systems for load tracking. We are proud to carry an excellent safety record with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration).

All our loads are fully insured with primary cargo insurance, adding an extra layer of worry-free protection for you.

From our headquarters in Sunflower, Mississippi, PPI Logistics can ship anywhere in the continental United States with most loads originating out of the Southeast and East Coast.

We provide 24-7 dispatch service handled personally by our company team and team of company staff drivers.

At PPI, our operations are housed within a secured, fenced-in campus with a full-time security guard and gate – assuring that all loads stored and staged at our facility are protected.
